Kaitlyn Axelrod

MSW, RSW, Program and Outreach Coordinator, Sheena's Place

Kaitlyn is a registered social worker and received her MSW from the University of Toronto, where she specialized in mental health and health. Kaitlyn completed her student placements at LOFT Community Services and at Jewish Family & Child, where she provided individual counselling and case management services to individuals facing a wide range of mental health challenges, including eating disorders, depression, and anxiety. Through her work, Kaitlyn aims to reduce stigma associated with mental illness and is motivated to improve the accessibility of community-based mental health services. As a former volunteer at Sheena’s Place, she is very excited to be a part the Sheena’s team once again
